But I promise that you won’t have thought about all of the problems that can and will occur if you’re not careful. Some people might not show up. Others, may forget what date your wedding is and make other plans. The venue could be double booked as well as some of the other services that you’ve arranged. To be honest, that’s just the tip of the iceberg. There are plenty other issues as well such as a terrible day of weather, nightmare traffic and some of the wedding party not showing up at all. Let’s look at some of these disasters in more detail and think about how you can prepare or avoid them completely. Food Poisoning I’ve seen this problem take down a number of weddings in the past. Food poisoning is a simple problem, but it’s also one that is quite a common cause of a mishap at a wedding. Either guests get food poisoning at the actual event itself. Or, the wedding party eats something nasty the day or evening before. In the morning, the bride wakes up with nasty stomach pain and the groom has already got his head in the toilet. This is why you need to be careful about what you eat and what you do before your wedding. You don’t want to have to cancel the ceremony or walk down the aisle looking a complete mess. Bad Weather Yep, there’s every possibility that terrible weather could put a dampener on your wedding plans. This issue is quite common, and it’s often because some of the wedding plans are due to occur outside. For instance, you might have decided to get married in the middle of summer. As such, you’ve chosen a venue with a beautiful stretch of green in front that you think is going to be perfect for wedding pictures. You’re probably right about that but what happens if the thunder starts to roll? Your only hope then is that there is somewhere else out of the elements that you can use. The best advice here is to make sure you always have a backup for bad weather. It’s particularly important if an entire part of your wedding is planned for outdoors. At the very least, you should make sure there is a gazebo so guests can retreat from the rain after the ceremony. Otherwise, you’ll probably find that celebrations are short lived. Missing Members You might find that the biggest issue on your wedding day is that people who you want to be there don’t actually show up. There are multiple reasons for this. The most common is that they accidentally booked other plans on the same day as your wedding. Or they forgot to get the time off. If you’re facing this issue, there’s an easy solution. You just need to make sure that you tell people the date of the wedding with as much notice as possible. You can use save the date cards from Pure Invitation or a similar company to do this. It’s stylish with a little flair that your potential guests will love. Of course, that’s not the only reason people might not show. Anyone who’s ever been to a bachelor party or hen night will know that they can grow out of control incredibly quickly. If you want to avoid this, there’s only one solution to consider. You need to make sure that you don’t have the bachelor party or the hen night the day before the wedding. It’s quite common now to hold it a few weeks before and get it out of the day. By doing this, you guarantee your soon to be husband doesn’t wake up tied to a lamp post on the morning of your wedding. If you think horrible things don’t happen at these parties, you clearly haven’t watched enough movies. Double Booked Or Down For The Count Finally, you might find that your wedding turns into a disaster because something has been double booked. I hope it’s not your wedding venue and truth be told, this is probably quite unlikely. But there are a few other things it could be. For instance, you might find that the transport to get you there on time is already being used by someone else. This will be the fault of the company that you have hired, and you should certainly get a refund. You also want to make sure that you have a backup that you can trust. A company that will fill in if the one that you hired fails.
If you avoid all these issues you’ll smile on your wedding day, seeing everything go according to plan.

Don’t let your horse overheat Often, on cold days, we throw a couple of blankets over our horses to keep them warm. While it’s important not to let your horse get cold, it’s also important to prevent them from overheating. This means being careful of how many blankets you’re putting on them. If you’re not sure how many blankets this should be, ask your vet for advice. It’s important to ensure that in the cold weather that your horse is well looked after. This means knowing how to keep your horse warm, healthy, and in shape. To do that, take note of the tips above, and implement them in your horse’s care routine. Perhaps you’re going to lose weight or do more exercise. Or maybe you want to quit smoking or try and give up snacking. For many of us, our health is a priority. But there are often changes you could make to improve your health even more. One common problem we face in modern society is sleepless nights. How often do you wake up feeling refreshed and ready for the day? If this is a rare occurrence, it could be time to address sleep troubles. If you’re not getting enough sleep, tiredness could be holding you back. With the New Year approaching, is it time you tried something different? Pinpointing a cause
If you experience difficulty sleeping on a regular basis, try and identify a cause. What is it that’s keeping you awake at night? Is your mind racing? Or do you feel restless? Is it too noisy? Or are finding it tough to switch off? Once you’ve pinpointed a cause, it’s much easier to look for solutions. Sometimes, you can make very simple changes. You could wear earplugs, for example. In other cases, the solution may be more complex, and it may take a while for results to become visible. Learning to relax Most of us find it hard to get to sleep because we can’t relax. Are you always thinking about what’s happening at work tomorrow? Are you anxious about your finances, or worried about relationships with others? If you find it hard to unwind, it’s essential to learn to relax. Everybody needs time out. If you go to bed with your mind racing, it’s no wonder you’re struggling. Spend part of your evening doing something that distracts your mind or calms you down. Meet up with a friend for a chat or read a magazine with a cup of tea. Put some music on, watch TV or enjoy a cuddle with your pet dog. Do whatever makes you feel content. If you find that stress is a constant problem, seek advice. Treatments and self-help techniques you could try include exercise and creative activities. Some people also find seeing a massage therapist or a counselor helpful. Changing your sleep habits If you’re tired all the time, this can affect your social and professional lives. You may not be able to concentrate at work, and you may not have the energy to socialize. Part of the problem for some people is that they don’t get enough sleep. Most experts recommend 7-8 hours of sleep per night. If you’re not getting to bed until the early hours, your body may be crying out for more sleep. Try and get into a routine that enables you to get sufficient sleep. Don’t wait until you’re falling asleep on the sofa to go to bed. Your body clock will soon adjust to your new regime. If you’re eager to start 2017 with good intentions, why not make an effort to get more sleep and boost your energy levels. Tiredness can affect your mood and your capabilities. Although sometimes there is an obvious explanation such as work stress, there may be no reason why you are feeling down. However, you might not realize that it might be down to your habits why you are feeling low. Everything from your morning routine to your lunch choice could be making you miserable. Therefore, here are some common habits you should cut out of your life to turn that frown upside down! Turning off your alarm I think a lot of us are guilty of switching our alarm off in the morning. Especially on Mondays when we struggle to go to work. However, if you keep pressing snooze, you might end up leaving little time to get ready for work. And it might leave you feeling cranky before you even leave the house. Therefore, you should attempt to get up when your first alarm goes off, so you can start the morning feeling happy. For one thing, it will give you time to eat breakfast which is an excellent way to boost your mood. Also, you might have a chance to go for a morning run which is a great way to rid your mind of bad thoughts and start the morning on a positive note. Adding that extra salt You might not realize that salt is not only bad for your physical health but also your mental health. It can contribute to depression and make you feel exhausted. Therefore, you need to stop adding that extra salt to your meals on a daily basis. You could always swap salt to spices and herbs which will add some taste, without making you feel low by the end of the day. Smoking cigarettes You might be surprised to know that smoking has been found to increase anxiety and depression. Despite the fact people have cigarettes to calm themselves down, once the buzz has worn off, it can give you the opposite effect. Therefore, you should cut out cigarettes from your life if you want to turn that frown upside down. Of course, it can be hard to go cold turkey. A lot of people try vaping instead as a way to cut out cigarettes. Vaping has lower health risks, so it’s less likely to damage your mental health. You can find vape kits for beginners from companies such as Shoreditch. Sitting indoors It’s so easy to sit on the sofa after work and then not move for a couple of hours. After all, we feel tired after a long day at work. But if you are regularly sitting indoors, you are more likely to feel depressed. You need to get active which will help to boost your mood and ensure you stay healthy. As this article says, if you exercise three times a week, your risk of depression decreases by 19%. Therefore, plan activities you can do outside of the house after work to ensure you end the day on a high! And be careful about spending too much time on our phone. Studies have found constantly checking your device can increase your negative thoughts!
